At Stripe & Stare they are passionate about their knickers - which are often described as the world’s most comfortable. That’s why they use Lenzing MicroModal. It’s sustainable sourced from Beechwood Trees - a naturally soft fibre that starts with the tree and ends with the softest fabric you’ve ever felt. The fabric uses 95% less water inits production than cotton. It breathes with the skin and holds it’s shape and softness better than cotton.
TENCEL is the trade name for the Modal Fibre all of their products are made from. It is manufactured by Lenzing in Austria and the name means ‘Ten’ for the tenacity of the fabric, and ‘cel’ because it is made from cellulose or wood fibre.
It is the only fabric Stripe & Stare uses - they love it and so do their customers. This is not only a fibre with integrity - it is proven to be twice as soft as cotton, it is anti-bacterial and better at handling moisture - plus it is kind to the planet.
Everything at Stripe & Stare is about women and empowering each other. This company was founded on the belief that you should do to others as you would have them do to you. Their knickers symbolize all that they stand for - kind to the planet and so comfortable they leave you free to conquer the world. A company founded and run by women who always have each other’s backs. We truly believe we are all in this together and need to work as a team so women supporting women is a cause close to our hearts. As such we put our money where our mouth is and give 5% of our profits to women’s empowerment charities.
